Server Version#: 1.41.6.0685
Player Version#: 10.26.1.123 (3fab280f) (Google TV)
I an onboarding a new user to my server. They created a Plex account, and I then invited them to my Libraries and shared them (Date of creation: 2025-04-29 UTC+10). All looks good, they accepted the request and everything looks fine on Desktop (app.plex.tv), they have access to the libraries and can play content.
On their Android app (and Google TV), the Libraries page shows blank “No libraries found”. This is despite having the Library correctly show up on the Desktop app. On Google TV, it shows a warning label on the Library and then infinitely spins.
Adding on, this is not a network issue. My own device on the same network was able to reach my server just fine via the app and browser. Other (older) users also report everything working, so the server is reachable and running fine.
It seems this is being posted elsewhere with some suggestions like: No content with the new mobile app
Adding new friends to your library - #4 by pl71303
But, having tried those steps it’s still a fail. The phone’s name is not “weird” and the network as before works with the server without any DNS changes over app.plex.tv and from my own device (iOS) on the same network.
So, are new accounts being created somewhere that has broken library access on the new app? Desktop still works, but Android Phone and the Google TV app appear to have not worked.
To test, I signed into the Google TV instance with my own account and everything worked fine. So, it’s specific to accounts and the new update. We’re still broken weeks later?
