No permission on Sinology Server

Server Version#: Plex 1.32.7.762-7000 on Synology DS 218+, DSM 7.2.1-69057 Update 1
I installed Plex on my updated Diskstation. Unfortunately it now shows something like “No permission to this server” (in German). I followed all the instructions for setting permissions my music share to the PlexUser.

Additionally to that, I removed the Diskstation in Setting, just to check if I can reconnect it, but now its gone and I can’t see where to add it again.

What is wrong?

You mention 3 problems

  1. No access to the server ( access denied )
    – Reset the credentials using the Plex Claim Token
  1. Permissions for Plex to see your Music library.
    – The username to grant permission is PlexMediaServer. User Plex is not used in DSM 7. You may remove (delete) user Plex
  1. In event you have Plex icon not visible on desktop, you can restore it with -
