No remote Access after changing password

Server Version#: 1.20.1.3252
Player Version#: 4.43.1

I have changed my Plex account password today. After the change, I logged back in to the server and all the clients (Appel TV, MAC app, Plex Dash, Plexamp, …). But I cannot get the Plex app on my iPhone to work. It’s saying my server is offline.
Also when I try to connect through https://app.plex.tv, I see “No content available”.
The “Remote Access” tab on the Plex server is saying: “Fully accessible outside your network”
Within my network everything is working flawless.

Hope somebody knows how to fix this.

We’re having the same issue over here FYI: Secure Server Connections after change psw

Same problem as me. secure connections no longer work. After changing psw of my account.

Fixed the problem by signing out on the server.
Stopping the server.
Renaming Preferences.xml to Preferences.xml.bak
Started the server.
Reconfigured Plex Server.

are the libraries and metadata lost?

No, after the initial config, just some settings had to be reconfigured, like Network settings

During the initial config, all the libraries were just showing up and already selected.

I did a test on a secondary server, it seems to work  only it is as if it were a new server and therefore I have to reconfigure the libraries of all my users … it’s not the best.

Thanks @capino, that did work for me. Had to reconfigure server settings, remove the previous server in authorized devices and re-pin libraries for all clients but all is well now.

Clearly there is a bug here in either Plex Server or their backend that the Plex dev team need to resolve, but at least we have a temporary “nuclear” fix.

Had not seen that, but yes, I also had to reconfigure the libraries for all users

Thanks, it works on my test server, but it also resets all user stats.

@ChuckPa could you help me to find a way without resetting all settings?

Could it be an ID machine identifier problem located in the Preference.xml file? Is there a way to change it without losing all the statistics (even the content already viewed and not of my friends) and settings?

I had this same issue today. In my home network I have a few different subnets. I had to log into my Plex server directly (:32400/web/inbox.html) from a device on its same subnet and claim the server by following Plex’s prompts to sign. From my laptop wirelessly I kept getting redirected to app.plex.tv to sign in.
