No Remote Access for AT&T BGW210-700

Hello,

I’m beyond frustrated, so I’m posting here as my last resort.

I have an AT&T 1Gbps connection and it’s the BGW210-700. I had my Plex setup before with remote access on my old PC, however, I recently upgraded. Now I keep running into the issue of “Not available outside your network”. I have a Windows 10 computer and I’m directly hard-lined into the AT&T modem.

Here is what I’ve done so far:

  • Went to NAT/Gaming section of settings and enabled UDP and TCP for port 32400.
  • Went to IP Passthrough and enabled DHCPS-fixed and that is associated to my PC’s MAC address. Allocation mode is set to Passthrough. (this got it working on my old computer and I did verify I selected the new PC’s from the list).
  • I’ve disabled Avast, Windows Firewall and Malwarebytes, and still no remote access.

All of these methods above worked previously on my old computer, but not on this new one. What is even more odd is that when I disable it, then enable it, it shows available outside of my network for around 3-5 seconds, then it says unavailable.

I appreciate any and all help, as this is super frustrating.

I gave up and bought a Netgear router and set it up in bridge mode using IP Passthrough. The Gateway provided is a huge hassle and I’ve called support dozens of times. If you have a spare router hopefully what I wrote will help. You can find the bare bones of it here
