No Servers Found server version 0.9.10.3 or higher required We were unable to connect to any of your

My issue with the XBox is that I keep receiving an error when I open the app. It says
"No Servers Found
server version 0.9.10.3 or higher required
We were unable to connect to any of your Plex Media Servers. Please check that they are are turned on and accessible."

I definitely have the latest version as I have deleted and reinstalled the server app a couple of times on my computer. The connection issue doesn't make sense as the XBox is on the same network and I can find the server using my mobile app on my android device.
Lastly, the XBox app used to work perfectly fine and it just stopped working for no reason.

I've send plenty of blogs written about this error message but none of the solutions have worked for me.

Thanks.

Is your server signed in and accessible remotely?

I am having this same problem - my server is accessible and I am signed in.

Yes I am signed in and it is accessible remotely. As I said, I am able to use Plex on everything but my Xbox. And approximately 2 months ago I was even able to use it on my Xbox as well. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on Xbox numerous times, signed out so that I can enter the pin number again to reconnect the Plex server and the Xbox, and everything I do takes me back to that screen:

"No Servers Found
server version 0.9.10.3 or higher required
We were unable to connect to any of your Plex Media Servers. Please check that they are are turned on and accessible."

I am also having this issue with a remote XBox One, since upgrading to PMS 0.9.12.

Discovery works fine with my local Xbox One, but a remote Xbox One under my friend's login gets this error message.

Both are app version 1.0.0.13

Tried upgrading from the 4/30 build to the latest build of 0.9.12.1, but no luck.

No one else is having this issue?  Is my only option to downgrade to 0.9.11 build?

Sorry for the standard question

* Did you try a hard reboot ?

* Uninstall the Plex app -> hard reboot -> and reinstall it

Interesting.  Tried it without the hard restart.  Will give the hard restart a try.

Happy to report that the hard restart between uninstall/reinstall did the trick.

Thanks for the tip.

that did not work in my case...

i've signed out of plex on my xbox one, uninstalled plex, hard reset and then reinstalled the app and I get the same error message.  I can get to my plex server with my other devices(all on my local network).

Can you get to your server at all remotely?  The Xbox One client needs the connection to get your server's local ip from plex.tv

yes my xbox is online and functional...i've logged out of plex on my xbox one and disconnected it from my plex server and re-signed in with a pin and that works....netflix works, multiplayer gaming works, I can reach my plex server from my other devices without any problems.

ok it appears the server was not 'online' after logging back in on the server my xbox was able to find my plex server

I'm having the same problem - works from every app but the xbox one.. just started today.  Issues at Plex perhaps?

As said above, is your server set up for remote connection? Go to Settings -> Server -> Remote Access to check.

I've had this error a few times, usually when switching between Xbox Live profiles on my Xbox One. Usually just going back to the Xbox home screen, quitting the Plex app from the context menu then re-launching the Plex app sorts it it.

It's a common problem for me too and is usually easily fixed as stated above, sometimes I need to turn the xbox off and back on again before it'll clear the problem but can generally be fixed easily. Bit of a pain though.

My work around when this appear :

- Click on 'go home';

- Drag the left stick down, you will see the higlight on the top corner for selecting a server;

- Click on it;

- Select your server;

- Enjoy !

Yes ('fully accessible outside your network'), and it works fine on android, PC, etc. only xbox one has this problem.

It keeps recurring, and the only fix I've found is to completely uninstall and reinstall the app.. once it's on the 'you need 9.10.3' screen it's stuck even if you hard reboot.
