NO SERVERS FOUND server version 1.3.0.0 or higher required

You need to (manually) update your server to version 1.13.

https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/

I tried several ways to do this but can’t find out how.
I have a samsung smart tv and a pc.
The firestick won’t connect to my pc as far as I know.
Thanks,
Gary

On your PC, go to the link above, download the software, and install it.

I’m running the latest version of Plex Server on my Mac Mini and still get an error on my Fire TV when I open the Plex app saying that I need to be running server version 1.3.0.0 or higher. Any suggestions?

I’m running the latest app version on my Sony Bravia android tv and the latest server version on my PC and I still get the same message “server version 1.3.0.0 or higher required”.
Has anyone solved this issue yet?

Reinstalled the server on the PC and reinstalled the apps on both the TV and the PS4 and I still get the same error message.

That doesn’t work.

Not sure if this will fix all of your issues but worth a look. For some reason my antivirus firewall changed home network from “private” to “public”. Once I switched it back over the error went away on all of my devices.

I ran into the same issue today ( with PLEX on a Fire TV stick 4K as client and on a Shield TV as Server) and got a solution for it.
In PLEX’s Settings, you need to set “Allow insecure connections” to “yes” or “in home network”. After that it worked. I applied this setting in both my Shield and my Fire TV stick, but maybe only on the Fire TV is enough.
The naming of the PLEX versions is pretty misleading because if you own 1.15 you could think that 1.3 is a higher version, but in fact you have Version 1 update 15 installed versus Version 1 update 3 required. So no need for updates for everyone that is receiving this message.

The suggestion here helped me. On the server settings (on my desktop), I set “Secured connections” to Disabled within the Network tab. On the app on my Amazon Fire stick, I changed the “Allow insecure connections” setting to Always within the advanced section. No idea why this happens or why this fixed the issue but hope that helps others.

Hi im having the same issues from couple of days says server is not accessible and stuff although i allowed insecure connections and stuffs on both the stick as well as the desktop. Anyone found a fix for this yet.
Edit : I also tried tried loggin in everytime it asks me to link and its linked but still on the screen it shows sign in.
Please help if anyone has a fix for this

I think Plex is having some problems with their relay servers or ISP’s are having issues with routing to those servers. I have about 30 people that stream from me and all of them are working perfectly except for two people. They keep getting weird errors about how my server is off-line (even when other people are actively streaming) and ‘relay’ errors.

Everything was working perfectly for a LONG time then around Thanksgiving, these 2 people notified me of the issue.

So anymore solutions to this to fix this issue??
