No Sound for music playback on Xiaomi 12S Ultra with DAC dongle

I use Plex for my main bulk of music streaming on mobile, and recently upgraded my phone to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra (Global ROM), and with the use of a Lotoo Paw S1 DAC dongle. On this phone, any other music apps like Spotify and Tidal apps plays fine through the DAC. On Plex itself, videos with sound play fine, and music plays fine with the use of TWS Bluetooth earphones. The issue seems to be isolated to Plex’s TREBLE player in the Plex app and Plexamp on this phone playing to the DAC. I tried emailing the Dev but got no response. Is there anyone else facing similar problems? Anything I can do to rectify? Thank you!

You haven’t uploaded the Plexamp logs, so it’s hard to help.

Please play to the DAC, wait for it to fail, and then upload logs.

There are no errors in there at all, as far as it’s concerned everything is good. You could try switching modes to OpenSL ES.

Hi Elan, i switched to OpenSL ES on Plexamp and it worked. But I can’t find a way to switch to it on Plex Mobile App. Greatly appreciate any guidance.

There’s no support for switching audio interfaces on the Plex app.
