Other Video library showing as Movie library on Shield

On Nvidia Shield, with server hosted on the Shield, any Other Video library created is shown on the Shield Plex app as Movie library, causing all thumbnails in library section to appear vertical rather than landscape. However that same library shows correctly as Other Video library on the web app and the thumbnails appear correctly in landscape. This happens to all Other Video libraries hosted on the Shield, but not when hosted on PC (library and thumbnails appear correctly on the Shield Plex app for Other Video library hosted on PC).

To summarize: (Other video library)
-Server on PC, app on Shield: correct library and thumbnail orientation
-Server on Shield, app on Shield: wrong library and thumbnail orientation
-Server on Shield, app on Web: correct library and thumbnail orientation

So the problem seems to be the Plex app on the Shield, not the server (or they’re not working well together).

I choose scanner: Plex video files.
Agent: Plex personal media

How do I fix that? It affects the visibility of the thumbnails in the library view. Uninstalled and reinstalled the Plex app and server on the Shield, it does not fix the problem. Thanks

I have just checked my Nvidia shield, using Beta, and can see the same.

I must admit I have not used the personal media option before.

Plex is aware of the problem. I’ve not seen any information regarding a fix.

Hi, Before i could add library from browser version and set the library type to Movie or Other Videos then it would create a library icon set accordingly (movie film or camera view icon…) which is properly shown on Desktop/Browser app but on mobile it replace library icon with Movie film icon, is it normal behavior or a bug in the app?
