Other Video library showing as Movie library on Shield

Plex is aware of the problem. I’ve not seen any information regarding a fix.

Plex Mobile issue with library icon not matching library type

Hi, Before i could add library from browser version and set the library type to Movie or Other Videos then it would create a library icon set accordingly (movie film or camera view icon…) which is properly shown on Desktop/Browser app but on mobile it replace library icon with Movie film icon, is it normal behavior or a bug in the app? I did try resetting the cache, logout/login, uninstall the app and even reset the screen with “Restore Default” but the icons still aren’t matching with the lib…

PMS “Announcing” to devices the wrong type of library

I built two servers, Nvidia and Windows Laptop, both managed on my laptop. Recently two Libraries on each server that were built using “Other Videos” are now “announcing” to my devices (Roku, Nvidia, Apple TV, iPhone) that these Libraries are “Movies” and using the movies icon on sidebar and thumbnails are vertical, while the PMSs on the laptop are still using the CORRECT camcorder icon on sidebar and thumbnails horizontal as they should.
