Big up the BigWheel everybody. Appreciate the time and effort of you and the Plex team.

Most people have free accounts and have not paid for the Plex Pass, so should be grateful for the app/server in the first place.
Going the extra mile and fixing a fault their not obliged to is a bonus. Want further support in future? Support the company and buy the Plex Pass, I will be.

I have the same problem as thefats50_gmail_com.
Can’t sign out and sign in again on the TV.
I remove the device from the Plex server, still the same issues :frowning:

You need to speak with BigWheel the Plex legend that fixed the first issue.

Thanks for the fix Plex - back to working normally again for me now.

As the person who started this thread, on behalf of all the Penny owners a big thank you to @BigWheel and the others at Plex for responding and sorting this. Appreciate you have to work with what are essentially ā€˜fit and forget’ operating systems that manufacturers put on their ā€˜smart’ TVs.

I’m also experiencing the same issues, how do I update the Plex app on my Panasonic TV? I’ve removed the app and reinstalled it but it shows, released 2018-06-05. So I think this it’s not issued in the market place yet. From the Netherlands by the way with a Panasonic Viera TX-55CS630.

Did people have to update their app or was this changed on the plex side of things?

All good here in Aus… on my panasonic… just had to log in… Thank you plex team for fixing this…

You did not have to update the app on your tv? I’m running 3.13.21. tried to remove and reinstall the app on the TV, but the version stayed the same.
