Ok so tested Plex Media Server 1.16.4.1469 is available in the Beta update channel
Seems to work in Australia with HD HomeRun tuners and IceTV Guide. So having deleted the DVR tuner and re-added, seems to work as expected. Tested some basic scheduled recording and they look ok.
So DVR recording of Live TV seems to have a fix. Anyone else confirm?
Im running Plex 1.16.4.1469 via docker in HASS.io but still have the same problems. Certainly not fixed from where I stand. Im in Brissie and using a HD HomeRun Quattro.
Could you elaborate on your process to get plex working?
Would be nice to hear from Plex themselves about this bug!
I’m running Plex in Docker on a Synology NAS. It was installed as the HASS.io add on. I am in Brisbane, Australia, but given I used to have no issue with this feature I’m struggling to figure out why it’s stopped working.
I’ll try to set up the DVR again, download the logs then post them here.
I recently rebuilt my Plex server by backing it up, upgrading the storage, fresh reinstalling Win10 Pro 1903, and restoring Plex. I used the instructions here. Now I can’t get either of my HDHR Primes to work. I’ve updated from the public release to 1.16.4.1469 beta. I’ve managed to delete both tuners and now at the bottom of the DVR admin page I get “Unable to load DVRs”. This is frustrating.
I just installed the new Plex Server version, restarted.
Then delete the DVR and Setup again. Previously I could not complete the setup, but now it seems to work. But I do have an IceTV subscription for EPG data, because Plex’s new EPG provider does not provide Australian EPG data.
Im guessing thats what the issue is then, I have no EPG subscription but Ill endeavour to get the logs posted tonight just in case there’s something else going on.
I tried to add the HDHR that is wired through a unifi switch on my network. I left plex for around 5 minutes looking but it came up with nothing… Didnt even time out.
