Plex app no longer working on LG OLED65C9PUA

My server has “secure connections” set to “preferred”. I changed both settings in advanced to always use an insecure connection, but every time I try and connect to my server (which is local) it can’t connect. I have an XBox Series X and a PS5 on the same network and their apps connect just fine. I can connect with my browser on my PC or laptop, as well as via my phone only using cellular data and thus remotely access it. It’s just the LG TV that won’t work. It did up until a few months ago. I notice it hasn’t been updated since July either. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, relinked it, put back always insecure for both settings, still won’t work.

Not sure what else to try, it’s the only device that won’t connect. My brother in law with the same TV who accesses it externally no longer can either, gets same error, but he can with his Apple TV device externally.

Edit: I enabled debug and then verbose logging in the app: nothing shows up on the server. Probably because it can’t actually connect so I would assume that means it can’t send log info either.

Just to add to this, I have exactly the same problem (same versions and everything) - my two LG WebOS TVs can’t connect to the server anymore regardless of setting, but my PS5/Apple TV/web browser all work completely fine. Completely at a loss as I can’t see any errors anywhere, it just wont connect anymore.
