When I press “Protokolle Herunterladen/Download Protocols” in the Plex-Windows-App, the webbrowser starts an says “Hmmm… this page is not available”
MY PROBLEM:
Plex on Reddit couldn’t help me the last 10 months, so I try it here, for now.
After more than 10 months of research all over the internet and many forums, I can say that apparently NOBODY has a solution for this, despite so many having the same problem.
I have now solved the problem in such a way that I simply go to my “Movies” tab and display “Folders” in the filters at the top. And then go there to the respective film and click on “Reassign”. -et voila, it works.
(PS: The Reddit-Post was the worst, nothing helped but everyone gives other “neg. karma” -sad 'n bad community…)
My guess is that most people simple didn’t click on the link in your original post.
Admittedly I was a bit confused too how you start about an error message in the server settings / downloading logs when the thread is about Plex not finding some media.
Usually files not being recognized or misplaced is about bad naming… so making sure you stick to the official naming schema will help.
There’s a few other occasions where content isn’t found at all – this can be related to permission issues, unsupported file types (e.g. disc images or raw DVD/BD folder structures) or (again) bad naming.
