I have noticed that since I added a second SiliconDust dual tuner to Plex my DVR is now recording the same show twice at the same time. It just uses both tuners all the time, defeating the purpose of having the second device. Seeing as this is for OTA I am thinkingt that I will split up the enabled channels on each and this will resolve that particular issues. But it is annoying. See the attachment for an example.
This is definitely not how it should work, and I did not have this issue when I was using two HDHomeRun devices.
Hopefully, someone from Plex can look into this for you.
I even punted and went away from the server on Windows over the Linux in hopes of better behavior… nope!
Check your recording list… It looks like you might have more than 1 recording set up for the same show
it was a brand new install with single recordings added for the shows I DVR - so it is a single recording. It does it for all recordings.
