Just to update this topic. Your initial timeouts have now been resolved after installing development build 1.15.8.1156
good news, running 1.15.8.1156 on my Qnap I am able to access the channels previously timed out. I checked on both our main TCL/Roku tv and other tv using Roku Premier.

It still takes about 15-20 seconds but eventually the spinner shows the percentage loading and video works great. This is good progress, as I’m getting weary of being a “paying beta tester”
