Thanks for providing the channel stream capture and all the logs.

I am expecting to get a development build soon for you to try out

Im having the same issue on the HDHRquad windows 10. DLNA stream direct from the tuner works without interruption, but Plex gives an immediate error. I will attempt to post a log following the error later today. Thanks for your support.

@joeferrante @workit247
Sent you by Private Messages, Development Build 1.15.8.1156-729c84fdf binaries for Mac OS and Linux Debian respectively

Please let me know the result and please let me have debug logs of the tuning of the troublesome channels regardless of the outcome

Regarding the timeouts on tuning I would like to extend the trial of development build 1.15.8.1156-729c84fdf to you as well to confirm the fix

But feel free to try the new beta 1.15.8.1163 first and if it makes a difference, do let me know - preferably with logs from the current version in use - failing to tune and the 1.15.8.1163 succeeding. I do not expect the beta to make a difference - but since @workit247 says it did here, i suggest you try it as well

If problem remains, let me know if you wish to try the development build and I will send you the windows binary for 1.15.8.1156-729c84fdf to try (and QNAP package for @spacehound)

I’ve got 1163. Still have the problem.

Perhaps you could get some code from Emby. It appears to work:)

I did say in the post above yours that I did not think 1.15.8.1163 would resolve and I offered a development build to try which has now had positive feedback from a number of users

This is uncalled for

nice, you guys may be looking in to getting the channel’s to load faster? because it has always taken about this long to load up a channel for me as well. On other devices outside of plex, it is instant.

Tongue in cheek. Wasn’t meant to be critical. Love what you have done with the product. This is a frustrating problem, and it’s been around for a long time. Pretty well makes the Live Tv/DVR functionality useless when using a HDHomerun Prime. I’d love to get rid of my Tivo, but can’t due to this bug.
How do I get the development build? I have 5 Rokus and 3 Roku TV’s and multiple users with windows and IOS. Happy to spend time testing all versions. Will send logs - of course it’s working now!

First I need to see debug logs from the server for the tuning failures and then we take it from there

OK - will work on the logs!

I have sent you link to download 1.15.8.1156-729c84fdf

As this is lower version than the beta you will need to go through Add/Remove programs in windows to uninstall the beta first

Just to update this topic. Your initial timeouts have now been resolved after installing development build 1.15.8.1156

good news, running 1.15.8.1156 on my Qnap I am able to access the channels previously timed out. I checked on both our main TCL/Roku tv and other tv using Roku Premier.

Your other issue mentioned by you is now a separate forum topic

It still takes about 15-20 seconds but eventually the spinner shows the percentage loading and video works great. This is good progress, as I’m getting weary of being a ā€œpaying beta testerā€

New issue Post and replies split into this new topic

Installed and running - will keep you informed.

Tried to connect to channel 661 at 9:31pm. Had this issue a couple of versions ago but seems to have regressed.
