Plex Media Server Crashing when transcode on player

My Plex Media Server is crashed when i play a media(transcode) from andorid app.
But, I play original Quality. no issue.
when i play transecode movie, it happend.

My server : Winodws 10 Pro
Client : Android Plex app

addtion : i found the log. My server enable H/W Transcoding.

The crash was in mfx_mft_h264ve_32.dll and is a known problem with encoder dll’s for hardware transcoding that arise when the Plex Media Server is run as a Service or through RDP.

The available options are

  • do not run Plex Media Server as a service, or
  • disable hardware transcoding

Apart of the crashes, there are limitations to the extent of hardware transcoding when the server runs without a desktop - which is the case when launched through RDP, as a service or scheduled task

We are expecting these Intel h264_qsv encoder crashes to have been fixed by the ffmpeg update which has been released in Plex Media Server beta 1.17.0.1709-982421575

If not, please raise a new forum topic with server logs after a crash
