Hi Chuck,

I just got a Synology 920+ and am a total noob. It won’t connect to my server.

I followed these instructions, but it still won’t connect. Can you help me please?

  1. You have to be on the same network as the server for initial setup (to claim the server).
  2. You have to be using RFC-1918 addressing for your network (such as 10.x.x.x, 172.16.x.x to 172.31.x.x, or 192.168.x.x).
  3. Point your browser at the IP address of the DS920+: http:// nas_ip_address :32400/web (ex: http://192.168.1.5:32400/web).
