Plex media server not starting after latest update on Synology

Don’t worry about it. This is clearly Synology’s fault. As long as the 64-bit version is working for me on my 916+, I’m good. If I had known there was a 64-bit version prior to today, I would have been using that instead, and never even known this problem existed. Oh well.

Good to know you are on top of things and working to resolve it. Maybe future versions of PMS should probe the hardware and see if it’s 64-bit capable. If so, change the link to 64-bit versions when you get the notice that a new PMS version is available. That may have its own set of issues I’m not considering, but might be better than relying on Synology.
