Plex Media Server settings missing

Server Version#:1.41.0.9018 (smb) (I just updated to the beta release because I thought this could solve the problem.)
Player Version#:10.22.0.1550
I almost have the same problem as the User in this Post: SHIELD Plex Media Server settings missing

The only difference is that I have never used a PIN. But just for testing I configured and then deleted the PIN but it still didnt show up…so his solution unfortunatly didnt solve my problem

What does http://[Local Plex Media Server IP Address]:32400/identity show?

Everything but my server settings. I’ve deleted plex reinstalled used revo to uninstall deleted the vm server. Recreated a vm installed plex still can’t see the settings. This just randomly happened today.

Then you are not following the instructions I gave you. It should provide you an XML page with either a claimed="1" or claimed="0"

For what ever reason when I open plex on my vm it’s worked. All of a sudden it acts like it has no server…. but it is the server. I deleted the plex server reinstalled it. Same thing. I installed it on my computer I can see the library settings. So I install I on my server same results

So no support for plex. This is a great software with horrible support

If you start with what I asked we can troubleshoot it. However if you fail to follow instructions its a waste of time.

Try configuring a PIN without deleting it.

Well I had already done what I did before I read this form. I can’t go back to before I removed the vm

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

So I found out that the Problem for me was that I was part of a Plex Home of another User where the Admin had a PIN configured. So after I left the plex home the Settings appeared…well only the headline with no columns below…Does anyone have an Idea what I could try now to fix this problem?
