- Uninstall the DSM 6 Plex app
- Now do the DSM 7 upgrade
- Restart DSM 7 again after it finishes
- Now you can download the DSM 7 app
- Follow the instructions it gives in the popups (failure messages)
- These messages tell you what’s missing / remaining to do
- When all requirements are satisfied, it will sit there in “Installing” … and spin.
- This is normal and takes time – depends on how many media files you have indexed.
