Plex on the synology dx517 (solved)

Hi,

Im so lost i dont know what to do …

I have plex on my nas 920+ synology and it still works…

I bought the expansion unit dx517 and made a 2 volume, made a map named main2 and there i put a couple of maps “uhd” “bluray”…

plex wil see the map main2 but all the sub folders it will not see it, all the media in all the maps it wont see even if i put the media in main2 folder…

Nothing changed with plex on the first 920 nas but i dont know why not on the dx517…

If i go in win explorer i see the folders and can play the data

Make sure Plex Media Server has permissions to see the media.

See FAQ 19: Setting permissions to allow Plex access to media files.

Run the procedure even if permissions look OK. It is possible Synology is not displaying them correctly (rare, but happens).

Be sure and check the box for Apply to this folder, sub-folder, and files.
