Hi @OttoKerner , I believe I have the same issue. Could you please check and reset my cert if needed?
[mod edit: Please stop and restart your server. If the issue doesn’t go away after a few hours, please open your own forum thread and supply server debug logs]
Hello, I am having the same issue with remote access just the last couple days. Please check.

I’m having the same issue, SSL certificate from Let’s encrypt expired on Nov 21st

Please wait at least 10 minutes, then stop and restart your server.

I’m having the same issue with remote access. Can I get some assistance
Same issue for a few weeks now, cant connect from any of my devices on the same wifi network. only works when logging into plex via the server account installed on my Synology NAS.
I recently began having issues logging into Plex Media Server, but I still have access from all my client devices.
Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe this a “server claiming issue” but rather some sort of “certificate issue” I’ve been reading about on Reddit.
Source:
My logs indicate a possible certificate issue:
Dec 08, 2025 01:33:46.428 [20640] DEBUG - [CERT/OCSP] no URL available
Dec 08, 2025 01:33:46.428 [20640] WARN - [CERT/OCSP] getCertInfo failed; skipping stapling
Can someone from the Plex Team provide an assist?
Thanks in advance!

I have reset the certs of all affected users in this thread so far.
Please stop and restart your servers.
Please refer to your original post above for a moderator edit. If you are not affected by this particular issue, I have added a note in there.
Maybe take a look at Important note about Chrome and Firefox Local Network Access
and do also compare the hosted web app with the local web app.
Do compare different Plex client types in general, in order to determine if the issue can be connected to a certain client type.
Ensure that you are not on an old server version between 1.41.7.x to 1.42.0.x
If there are still issues, please open your own forum thread.
Hello, I’m experiencing the same problem as many others on this forum. I can no longer access my remote server on my QNAP NAS. Everything has worked perfectly for several years…
I’ve spent a lot of time searching the forums but I can’t find a solution…
Can you please help me?
“app.plex.tv can’t securely connect to ‘NAS-…’”
Thank you in advance.

I’m having similar connectivity issues for a few weeks. Would appreciate someone taking a look.
Thank you!

Otto,
Thank you for your reply!
With this information, I was better able to isolate and determine this was solely a Chrome related issue and fixed it with the links/information you had provided above.
Once I did this, I was able to log back into PMS via the app again.
chrome://flags#local-network-access-check, set the flag to “Enabled (Blocking)”, and see if your website correctly triggers the new permission prompt (and works as expected after you grant the permission).@OttoKerner Could you please check and see if I am impacted. I cannot access data currently hosted to Plex, cannot reclaim server, and many of my advanced options are no longer available as of today.

Careful. This block is normally a good thing. Ensure that you don’t disable it globally, but just for app.plex.tv
I am having the same issue…please help.

Well, this temporary setting only worked one time for logging into PMS.
Once I close the browser and reopen, I’m unable to login using Chrome again.
Edit:
Note, this is only using PMS, and not from another computer using the same browser.
I’m no expert, but fairly intelligent, but for some reason, this issue eludes me.
I feel like I’ve tried everything, yet I’m no longer able to login to PMS from my server, but other computers work just fine.
I understand, this not a sole Plex issue, but rather an issue with Chrome + PMS.
However, I can login to Plex using Chrome from any other machine.
There seems to be an issue with using PMS/Chrome.
Any support is welcome!
Edit #2:
Going further, I’ve tried the following:
Can someone please tell me what I’m missing here?
Thank you kindly!
@OttoKerner Thanks for the suggestions. All issues resolved minus the remote access cutting in and out constantly. I log in and troubleshoot it, it changes to everything working, ten minutes later libraries are unavailable outside my home network. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated!
