Plex remote access issues - cannot connect securely

Noticed the following in the logs recently:

May 21, 2026 11:29:13.821 [23222581107344] WARN - [CERT/OCSP] getCertInfo failed; skipping stapling

Can someone check my cert status and renew if necessary? Thank you.

[mod edit: your server’s certificate is valid and well. Whatever your issue is, it has nothing to do with the cert.]

I also seem to have this issue. Can you please help renew the cert?

[user edit: Worked. Thanks!]

May you check my certificate? I’m having the same issue.

Hello. I’m having trouble connecting plex from an external network. Plex itself is installed on the Asustor nas and the nas itself is connected to an external port, while I have a static ip. In the Plex settings, on the remote access tab, it says “The server is fully accessible from the network”, an entry in the form of my network’s local address:32400 is my shared external ip address:32400 is the Internet. For some time now, if I am on an external network, the plex application authorized by me has stopped “seeing” my Asustor-Plex. Writes Asustor offline. At the same time, if you open an address like “my external ip:32400” in the web browser, then my libraries are available and working. Why this started happening is not clear. How can I fix this?

I have the same issue as ElusiveZatchno

Can a mod please look into the certificates on my servers.

I moved server from high sierra to monterey and am having the same issue i think, works locally but not remotely. Spun up a test server on windows and same issue.

Tried forwarding and forcing different ports but i still cant get remote play working.

Everything was working fine 4 or 5 days ago.

[user edit: turns out it was ssl handshake issue.

I ended up exporting letsencrypt certificate from router, converting the format of it and told the plex server to use that along with my asuscomm ddns domain name.

App got its ■■■■ together and server started being accessible by apps again.]

Seems that my certificate is also expired. Expired the 15th this month.

[mod edit: Indeed. Please stop and restart your server now.]

I’m having similar issues. i have restarted plex server. I have installed version 1.43.2.10687. i have verified remote access is working and receiving " Fully accessible outside your network". rebooted my mycloud. removed app from ps5, tvs, etc and reinstalled and re logged in. I have lifetime access so billing not an issue. not sure where to go now. can someone please help.
