Can anyone please help me figure out this it has done it ever since the most recent update and is causing indirect connection which is pretty much unwatchable outside my network which is where I use it 90% of the time. P.S. Plex Pass Holder

You gave no details at all, how can anyone help?

Do you have a public IPv4 address?
Do other http servers also not work, or is it just Plex?

Yes I have a public ipv4 address and yes Plex is the only thing not working

It has worked for 8 monthes and just stopped all of a sudden no settings have been changed anywhere

Did you already have a look at the related troubleshooting support article?

https://support.plex.tv/articles/200931138-troubleshooting-remote-access/

There’s also a guide with some more details on how to troubleshoot remote access issues. For more support you’ll need to share some more details from those checks.

Yup with zero luck

Without the detailed outcome from your troubleshooting we can only guess.

I can’t do anything at the moment currently not near the server what info do you need

Well for starters canyouseeme.org is not seeing the correct ip address which might be the problem but how to fix

In Plex remote accessthe public address starts with 138. And canyouseeme.org starts with 174.

But my actual address in network settings starts with 192. So confused

The 192.xxx network is your local network.
The public IP address you see inside Plex is usually the one Plex identified as the WAN-IP address of your router. That being in the 138.xxx band implies it’s actually a legit routable public IPv4 address, not some CGNAT situation.
Then again… the fact that canyouseeme.org gives you a completely different public IPv4 address implies there might be some more active network components between that router and „the internet“… any chance you’ve different active network components that create their own subnets?

Literally nothing has changed network wise isp wise or server wise been the same way since I started using Plex like 8 monthes ago so I have no clue I’m not familiar with networks in general

You won’t necessarily see changes made by your ISP.

How would I know that then?

When I manually specify public port (which I didn’t before) it goes green for less than a minute if I uncheck manual port and hit retry everything goes red and says unknown for both private and public

I fixed it apparently the router went bonkers all it needed was a reboot all is working as it should thanks for the help and info for any future problems I should of tried that first idk why I didn’t sorry
