Ive changed directory naming, moved files, deleted files, re-added the files and still majority of the media will not show up in Plex. The Plex Scanner will see the files but will think there is no change and then skip it. When I completely remove a TV Show and then add it back, it will see it. But there are a lot of TV Shows. A Library scan and refresh does not do anything. So here is an example of the media that is present the scanner seeing it, saying no changes, but the show is not listed in the media browser. So here is the media being scanned.

Adds all the files to the scanner.
So it looks like Plex knows its there, thinks its there, but hasn’t updated whatever the client uses to read that the content is there?
So all this I went through. Even after a Plex Dance. The next thing im trying is copying the files completely off the disk pool and to a separate disk, not just moving them to a new folder (and then the plex dance), and then deleting them from the original location, doing the plex dance again, and then adding them back.
One thing to note, when I did the plex dance before, and added the library back, it ignored the same TV Shows again. The ones where I explicitly deleted them and then added them back to get recognized. What I cant seem to understand is why when I complete delete the library, clean bundles, Rescan with the library and files gone, and then add the library, why does it ignore about 3/4 of the shows.
I literally just figured it out. The copying I am doing from one drive group to the other is copying zero byte files. What I cant figure out is why its copying the actual data for about 60 folders and not the other 150 folders. But that’s a local problem to me.

So Plex does not add the media unless there are actual media files there, regardless if there is xml, series info and image files. Which… makes sense unless its a case like mine rofl
