Worked for me if your plex server settings are unavailable try re-downloading the Plex server https://www.plex.tv/downloads/#plex-media-server

Applies only to Windows: if you moved your Plex data folder to the root folder of a different drive letter: Make sure that you write it as e.g. E:\ (including the backslash \ at the end!) under Settings - Server - General - ‘Show Advanced’ - “The path where local application data is stored”

Editing the registry with Plex shut down first worked perfectly, thank you!

This fixed it for me too!! Thank God. My drive was d:, and just changing it to d:\ fixed the problem!!
