Plex stops working or closes on vidaa

Same issue here, it play without direct play but without hdr, cant get it to work.
tv and server updated to the latest version.

I wanted to uninstall Plex from tv and reinstall it, but it is not possible. hisense has some kind of deal with Plex to keep their app permanent so it should work fine. when will you fix?

after updating the TV software, there is still a problem in plex with “There is insufficient memory. The app will be stopped.” and I can’t use the app completely, please release plex patch as soon as possible.

I just bought a tv to use the plex app and still can’t use it. there are memory problems and it is a problem with the TV application, the plex from an external player connected to the tv is working properly.

I’ve been a month using the new tv with plex without any problems, some automatic update (plex?tv software?) just broke something and now plex is useless. It’s weird that if I access my nas from “source” option I can play everything without any problems!

After contacting hisense support they send to me the L1229 firmware update for my tv (not available via OTA) but nothing changed about the plex issue (wich still is the 5.29.1 version). Everything else just works fine.
It seems a plex app issue… maybe they’re not intersted on support the vidaa version of the app… what a shame!

I have a fire-tv and I can not use Plex on it. I can on my computer though and all the other things like Discovery+ and Disnet+ work, along with Crackle & Tubi.

I think they are not working to fix the bugs at all… Plex support for hisense tvs and Vidaa is deplorable.

I’ve waited for months to see if they solved it but they are still doing weekly useless updates and now the app does not even connect to my home server…

From the very beginning, the built-in plex application does not work and the updates are more and more absurd, they take care of the logo design, ads and other unnecessary things, and bugs that prevent you from viewing any content are still unrepaired. They completely ignore this problem. And yes, there is a problem with the TV’s built-in “plex” application.

Dear customer, the Plex app depends on the developer itself and is external to Hisense
Do the other apps work correctly for you? Have you checked the internet connection (try cable and Wifi)?
If everything else is correct, it will depend on the external app itself or the content displayed, so only PLEX can act on its app.

Either Plex gets smart or there are many alternatives that are gaining a lot of strength, and here there are people paying for a lousy service

I just bought an HiSense A6GT on the assumption that it supports Plex, but the image is stuttering in Direct play. If I am using Direct Stream it’s working ok.
If i play the same file through TV player from local network, it plays with Dolby Audio and really smooth - something i don’t get playing the file with Plex App.
I’m not sure if I posted in the right thread but my understanding is that is Plex app fault and I should not bother playing with Plex server settings?

Now you can go buy a Fire Stick or something like that, since the Plex developers are not doing anything to fix the Hisense app.

I do have a FireStick … but i just want to use Plex app from TV interface. That’s why is there isn’t it…
