That’s where I had loaded it from initially, so no it doesn’t work there
Your Tidal subscription link was in a weird state.
I had it reset for you.
Please try to link it again on this page https://plex.tv/users/other-services
actually had a relevant update to my New Releases on Tidal (for you) carousel in the Plex. First time since release of the Plex integration. That’s promising.
Anything change on Plex end to better update this?
Sorry to interrupt here, but I have a problem similar to the question’s in this thread. I have this problem:
I have a Tidal account. When I connect it to my plex server I can see that it is connected. I restart the plex server and get “tidal online” under music. When I press on “tidal online” I got a possibility to buy a Plex + tidal solution and a trail for 30 days, it dos not connect to the tidal music base. When I go back and check the tidal connection it is gone and I shall reconnect. I have now tried at least 10 times with same result. Can anybody tell me what is going wrong.
I’m running the latest ver. of plexserver on a Mac mini with IOS Moojove, but the same happens on my iPhone and my iMac.

Hello,
Newbie here with a frustrating issues.
Running PMS on raspberry pi (Version 1.15.2.793) Using Plex web Version 3.93.1(Chrome) on mac osx Mojave.
-
problem: Using Tidal. Every now and then Tidal errors “account not linked” although it is. Have to go through account to re-link tidal to plex and still not 100% guarantee that this resolves the situation.
-
problem:Trying to play music onTidal’s side. “Playback error” An error occurred loading items to play.
-
problem: Trying to use chrome cast when tidal works. This content is not currently supported when connected to a remote player. Again sometimes works and sometimes not.
Please help me
Hey guys,
I was just wondering how I’m supposed to stream Tidal from my PS4? In this article (https://support.plex.tv/articles/an-intro-to-tidal-with-plex/) it says that Tidal is available for Playstation 4. How can I access it? It’s not in my “online media sources” tab on my PS4 Plex App. Maybe the mvp @OttoKerner can help?
I don’t have a PS4, but according to someone in the know, Tidal will appear as a second music library there.
And since the PS4 app already has the “type-first” user interface, you will find it by:
going to the home page
pressing Left until you come to the type music (don’t press OK yet)
going Down
Then select the Tidal library with Left/Right
Only you can do this. Your shared users don’t have ccess to Tidal.
Thank you very much Otto! Idk why but it suddenly was there, when I added a music library (which I already tried earlier the day, but to no avail) thank you sir
A Question for the Plex chaps and/or chapettes out there.
When creating a playlist exclusively of Tidal tracks is it better to create the list in Tidal, or as I have as a Plex playlist?
In the below example I created the Playlist in Plex full of Tidal songs.
I ask because some random things are happening when playing the Tidal playlist in my car on my Android phone. Sweet Fades sometimes work sometimes don’t. If you stop the playlist and continue it it really starts doing some funny things, especially when the phone goes into power save mode.
So whats the best way?
Upvoted.
I notice also “funny” behavior on my PS4 with Plex and Tidal. I created a small (Tidal) playlist, but it only plays one artist of the playlist if I have it run on shuffle. There’re like 8 artists in it, but after listening to it for a couple of hours I noticed, that it never played another artist than ‘Curse’. So there’s definitely something going wrong with the integration ^^
Btw same behavior goes for my Plex Web App if I play that playlist
I use https://app.plex.tv/desktop to connect to plex online. TIDAL
is in the online content and works great. But when I go to TV connected to
Roku I open plex and look for TIDAL, The only items in Online Media is
Web Shows, News, Podcast & More +. More is empty. I’ve spen hours
in the forum and have tried all the setups and add’s and nothing?
If there is a salution to this issue would someone please lead me
to it.
I also tried Plex on a iPhone and iPad and TIDAL did not work!
Thanks for any and all help!

Sorry if this was answered before – is mobile sync planned/possible in the future? Would be amazing to get rid of spotify apps and so on…
@OttoKerner My TIdal is acting pretty weird lately, similar to what was happening in this situation you responded to in February. I used to have a subscription, stopped, and recently renewed with Tidal. I linked my account to Plex and it was working fine for a few hours.
Now, I am able to search for Tidal music via the search bar. I can play Tidal music just fine. However, when I navigate to the Tidal source or attempt to view My Tidal I see 1 of 2 things depending on the device I am using. On the Desktop I see the splash screen prompting me to sign up and learn more about Plex + TIdal. On apps like iOS or Apple TV I see a message that Tidal is currently unavailable.
I have tried unlinking and re-linking my Tidal account, nothing seems to work.
Wondering if you can look at resetting the tidal subscription link for me?
Please delete all your old servers from your account
https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/pms
But only the old ones!
Then close the client app and reload it. See if that changes anything.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Below are the steps I tried. No change seen though. Can still play and search for tidal tracks but cannot access the Tidal source. Depending on device I see either the page to learn more and sign up or that tidal is offline.
Steps performed:
- Delete old servers
- Restart server and clients.
- Unlink tidal and restart server
- Link tidal
- Restart server
Which Plex clients have you tried?
Plex Web (app.plex.tv version), iOS on my iPhone and iPad, Apple TV and Shield.
Haven’t used the Shield lately, so gave it a try. Signed out of my plex account on the Shield app then signed back in. Tidal will not load when I navigate to it.
Could you try unlink your Tidal account and then re-link it after a few minutes?

Still no luck. I appreciate your looking into it and trying to help. I think I will move on from trying to make this work.
I have been fighting with this for the past week and am no closer to getting it to work. Really shouldn’t be this difficult, so I will just cut my losses.
Hello, I’m really thankful for the “Add to Music” function in Plex. Having Tidal tracks and my personal Plex music library together as one library is just the functionality I’m looking for. I’m running into an issue where other users are reporting they are able to add the FLAC files from Tidal to their Plex Music Library. However, when I use the “Add to Music” function, the tracks are added in AAC. I have the HiFi subscription that streams FLACs when I play the audio when Tidal is selected in the server drop down. When I play those tracks after adding them to my library and switching to my Plex server in the server drop down, I no longer see the “HiFi” indication in playback since I assume only the AAC version of the track is playing. If this issue can be resolved and casting and syncing of Tidal content can be enabled, Plex and Tidal integration will be absolutely perfect for me!
