The tidal albums and videos show up in my artists page (regular library), are you using a premium or regular music library?

My music libraries are all premium and set to use embedded tags. You may want to create a new music library and add a single artist for testing that you know is on tidal.

I have a premium library.

Also yet another problem;

on IOS player, when attempting to play any tidal music the player attempts to load but just sits there with a spinning circle and never plays.

I tried tidal artists/albums/tracks directly, and anything that is on the tidal discover page.

edit: if I try to play any tidal music from plexweb, I just get

Error code: h4 (Codec)

i only have last.fm at https://plex.tv/users/other-services

does this work in UK?

I had problem signing up as new, but it kind of working (other than posts above).

I am not getting the link to TIDAL in my Other Services page, not UK however. I am in the US.

Hmm, I just rechecked my ā€˜other servicesā€™ and the tidal link is gone (I have already linked it earlier).

weird.

we can probably just guess that it is rolling out slowly and/or not fully propagated through all systems yet.

Iā€™ve already got a Tidal account, linked it no problem and plays fine on phone. However will not let you cast Tidal content to Chromecast Audio through Plex app, so I can only get it on my hi-fi through Bluetooth and that is not ideal and not CD quality.

Chromecast support shouldnā€™t be too far away :wink:

Yay, Plex Tidal integration.

Do not want. Can I remove the plugin or the menu option from my screen? Couldnā€™t give a toss, wonā€™t be using it.

For me it was disabled by default, but you can remove it from settings>Online Media Sources

Online Media Sources can be disabled on the Online Media Sources settings screen

It is interesting that Microsoft made a similar announcement yesterday.

I wonder if Tidal is doing all the heavy lifting here and building the software for the integration across multiple platforms including Plex.

do the albums get added to your actual library?

I see an option to ā€œAdd to My Tidalā€, but when clicking that it adds it to the Tidal-only page, and is not included in your Artistā€™s albums list, just listed under ā€œTidal Albumsā€ further down the pageā€¦ so it doesnā€™t feel very integrated with the Music Library
