First, I am pretty sure I dont have over 98k folders… maybe 98k files, yes. The folders I link PLEX to on my Synology is… 8. So that wasnt supposed to be snarky, I just didnt know that folders were the same as files.
So,
- every time I remove PLEX from my synology NAS, and start from scratch, it just adds another server with the same name. I now have 4 plex servers with the same name, and much like adding the Other link, there is no way to delete them that I can find. I’m sure thats synology’s fault…?
- My naming issue is just fine, never had an issue with that.
- Tried to create a task schedule, but instructions had me lost in less than 5 minutes.
- Unistalled 4x. Did nothing. See #1
- I got instructions from synology on how to completely remove plex and followed them… no good obviously. The link you sent me only had one line:
/volume1/PlexMediaServer/AppData/Plex Media Server
I put that in the search box and could never find it. - See #1
- Tried to do that also, on all the servers created. As in the picture, all they show are the Orange Triangle with ! except the latest created, and even that one wont let me do that. Whenever I browse to link my folder, it shows I have no folders/files… as in the other picture.
- didnt get this far.
- didnt get this far.
- Profit? What???
oh, and in folder view, there was a grid view that is no longer there. I, and numerous other on PLEX forum, all chimed in for OVER 10 MONTHS, and there was not a SINGLE response from anyone associated with PLEX. If you want that link I can send it to you…
