PlexAmp fails to connect post Plex password change

Server Version#: Version 4.12.3
Player Version#: X-AppImage-BuildId=1eb65ac0-f46d-11a8-2a14-3f03bf545e72 image: X-AppImage-BuildId=1eb65ac0-f46d-11a8-2a14-3f03bf545e72

Recently changed the Plex password and now PlexAmp fails to connect to the server.
The PlexAmp loads the background UI, but never connects.
The image has been deleted and re-downloaded, the hidden files in:
/home//.local/share/Plexamp/ and
/home//.local/share/applications
were deleted and still no success.

Guessing there is either other hidden files I have no yet found and/or appimage is storing configuration values somewhere.

Without a UI or any kind command line method to interact with PlexAmp, I am seeking a way to re-configure PlexAmp to connect using the new password.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
