When I lose connection to my server and try to use the search function, it only tells me there are no results. I’ve tried redownloading my songs without success.
If I have search results from before I lose the connection, plexamp will try to stream the song, even though “prefer downloads” is set to always.
Since there is no way to search the offline files, or even playlists (how is that not a thing?), offline usage is almost impossible.

Offline isn’t intended for storing your entire library, so we haven’t added offline search. It’s something we’d like to add in the future.
I have a similar problem. When i go outside my network and select the ‘downloaded’ music Plexamp spins and says we cant connect to your server oops something went wrong. This use to work for me. Am i doing something wrong? version 4.10.1 Source shows ‘music player basement’, my server.
post some logs, unclear what the issue is. home screen won’t work if you can’t connect, but downloads tab will.
Hi Elan, i went out of range and this time i had no issues accessing the downloaded music. I had the issue a few times in the past. If it re-occurs I will upload the logs. Thanks for the fast response.

Here is what happens. When i go out of range of my network I cannot get the product to leave this screen. I restart it, reboot the phone all to no avail. It keeps coming back to this screen and this message.
Offline/Downloads never has worked properly for me. I haven’t used it for a few months, so I started it up to check everything before a long road trip. I had downloaded about 20 albums from my server earlier in the year but there was nothing in Downloads. I have to start all over again. This is frustrating…it’s basic functionality. I was told to use Plexamp instaed of Plex bc it was supposed to provide a much better experience for downloading and disconnected listening. So far it’s a dud.
If anybody is looking, here is a little more information. If I leave the house, go out of my wifi range, and select the download screen before the app works. If i leave and am on the home screen I can not select the download screen.
