… and the new EPG display/screen is also great!
Where is the new package that fixes this? I’m on Mac so if you are Windows it may not work for me.
I too would love to know where this new package can be found. Incredibly frustrating not being able to use a service I pay for.
Still no reply at my earlier post and my DVR is still not working correctly in Plex, except for a couple (2/3) of useless channels. All other get “Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna”.
When will there be a permanent fix for the DVR/Live TV functions?
Count me in with this issue. “Unable to load DVRs” is the message I get. Windows 10 running server Version 1.16.3.1433. Logs attached.Plex Media Server Logs_2019-08-04_20-23-20.zip (2.5 MB)
I will get to it - sorry - it is in my queue - please remind me again if remains unanswered
Thanks for the logs. It is the issue with the DVR being locked out after attempting to auto delete
Aug 04, 2019 19:58:44.598 [16624] WARN - No matching Cloud EPG lineup; deleting DVR.
Plex Media Server 1.16.4 will have the fix for this and should be released to beta soon. If not, I will make the alpha build available to you
Downloaded and installed the new version (1.16.4). I had to download it from the Plex website, as it would not download via the server Web interface.
When Plex first started my DVR showed up. Then it disappeared. I don’t even get the “Unable to load DVRs” message in the Manage>Live TV & DVR menu. And it’s completely gone from the main menu. Before at least I could still access my list of series to record/priority.
Logs attached. Looks like the same “WARN - No matching Cloud EPG lineup; deleting DVR.” error.
I previously had the problem with the existing DVR not being found, and then unable to locate the HDHR - even if I specified the ip address.
After I installed the 1.16.4 update, it showed the HDHR under “setup a new DVR”, and even had the channel lineup. I "continue"d and then it asked for my postcode.
I remember from of old, that it doesn’t like the full postcode, so I put in the first part, and get a message that it’s finding the best guide data - which never moves on from 0%Plex Media Server Logs_2019-08-06_10-13-40.zip (3.9 MB)
@sa2000,
I downloaded the latest version of the PMS from the Plex website. (version - 1.16.4.1469). Installed it successfully and it discovered the HD HomeRun Connect too, and the next screen worked too (where I selected the country - AUSTRALIA in my case) but the next screen is where it got stuck. Please see the screen shot below. the screen doesn’t allow for the ‘continue’ button to be pressed/clicked as it is greyed out.
Please help. I have sent you the server log in a private message. Thanks.
I maybe wrong but I believe since you are in Australia you need and have to use the “Have an XMLTV guide on your server? Click here to use that instead.” link instead… Don’t believe PLEX’s new EPG works in Australia at this time…
Oh No!
What this mean? Where do I download the XMLTV guide from? And does that mean it will not be updated automatically and I have to update it manually? If manually, then how often?
Any ETA on when it will be available for AUS?
Do a Google search on XMLTV Australia… I have no clue how it works and what’s involved to get it going… I am in the US and just remembering what I have read here on the forum… If you do a search here, I’m sure you’ll find out more about it… IIRC, there are at least two services, one free and on paid… Good luck!!!
Cheers mate!
Yes, searching the internet has found me a source (for Australia) - http://freepg.tv/
I will give it a go and report back
That has worked. I am up and going.
My reading is that even 1.16.3 version worked by removing and adding the DVR. I just didn’t realize that the new EPG was not supported for Oz region anymore and that I needed XMLTV source.
Have any others used the 1.16.4 version? I am very hesitant to upgrade as things appear to be working for now. If you have upgraded, what were the results?
Just upgraded to 1.16.4.1469 and it’s working for me now!! woohoo
I can confirm as well. Looks we have a winner.
For those that the update worked for, did you have to re-setup your DVR? Or did it just show back up?
The update did not work for me – it gave the same error in the logs, and actually deleted anything associated with my DVR. So now all my series recordings/priority lists are gone.
Glad you are up and running.
