PMS just stopped responding overnight on QNAP

Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.15.4.993-bb4a2cb6c-x86_64
Player Version#: any Player

So, I have a strange one, my plex stopped working yesterday morning and am not sure why:

Configuration (no changes to anything overnight):
-hardware - QNAP TVS-873 with latest production firmware loaded (4.3.6.0923) and Static IP
-Plex (latest public version) running on the QNAP utilizing standard port (32400) and working fine in this configuration for over a year
-Internet - GB service through Xfinity
-firewall - Netgear Orbi mesh on latest firmware, no special routing or VLAN’s used.

Timeline:
-Last night plex working fine
-this morning (no changes/updates overnight) Plex not working for appleTV’s in house (or anything as it turned out)
-Restart service on QNAP - No help
-Restart QNAP - No help
-checked common things - No help
(Ok, here’s where it gets weird)
-My QNAP has HDMI out (So you could use it in a theater setup) , hooked up an HDMI cable to a monitor…and Plex Home Theater is actually working (local on the QNAP), was able to watch a show.
-Rolled back a version PlexMediaServer-1.15.3.876-ad6e39743-x86_64 & Restarted Plex - no help

Bottom line:
-Plex is working and can be viewed through local HDMI (Hybrid Deskststion)
-Plex not working VIA any WAN or LAN
-QNAP is pingable

I assume it’s something maybe in firewall or routing since it works within the QNAP, but DDNS hasn’t changed and port 32400/443/80 are open when I go to https://canyouseeme.org/ and check those ports.

What else should I be checking? I’m stuck…any thoughts?

I’m assuming when you say it’s not working you mean you cannot connect to Plex locally or remotely.

Turn off PMS on the NAS and try running another instance of PMS (same settings as on the NAS) on another machine. This is to rule out that router may be blocking ports and access to PMS. If it runs fine on the other machine, it’s more likely your NAS with the trouble and nothing wrong with the software.

How many network ports do you have connected in the TVS-873 ? If you have several then pls read Q21 in Qnap faq.....read me first!
