PMS is running in docker on Unraid.
Hi, I noticed that posters and background images are not loading for certain items:
I tried the plex dance, I checked and repaired the DB thinking it was a corruption of some sort, I also unmatched / matched the movie again. The other metadata seems to have loaded fine.
Is it a bug ?
Do you have “Prefer local metadata” and/or “Use local assets” enabled for this library?
If the file is an mp4, it could have an embedded poster which the above options would use.
Both are disabled.
The file is .mkv, also I’ve noticed that if you add the movie to your watchlist, it doesn’t show any poster. is it also something you’ve noticed ?
They are also missing from https://watch.plex.tv/it/movie/grand-prix which most likely means plex has been legally requested to remove all artwork. This has happened to many movies.
Your best option is to add external artwork yourself.

It would be great to have some kind of fallback to tmdb for those items.
