Preroll worked yesterday not today. What happened. I now get 1001 network error. log says no streaming video or audio. Says the same thing if I try to directly play my preroll unless I remove preroll the file location under settings extra then it plays video fine but not as a preroll.
Im lost as to getting my preroll back. Any thoughts?

From your screenshots — does user plex have permission to traverse the path to the video(s)?
It has permission set to create and delete- read write including subfolder permission

Thank you for removing that data. I just realized what I posted.
I dont know if this will help but I started using preroll a week ago. It worked fine until I added a ; to add a second video for random play and none worked. Then I tried to just have the 1 video I started with and I now have this going on. I just wanted to be clear so you didnt think it just started happening.

Do you have automatic DB optimization enabled in Scheduled Tasks?
I click optimize 10 minutes before I ran the log. I clicked it again and its done in seconds, is that normal?
What else is running on the host?
It should be faster than this.
its usually using around 3 to 13% unless its transcoding.

What’s that bad video file problem?
Bad video happens when it tries to play a 4 second mp4 as preroll.
If I remove the preroll address from settings then the mp4 plays like a noemal file but not as a preroll.
if its a bad file the video would not play from normal library
then what’s wrong with user plex trying to access that preroll video?
Does it have permission?
This is going to be something trivial.
I am the user and Ihave permission as admin and still get these errors. Why does the video file not play as a normal file if I have its address in preroll? but work if no info is in the preroll box?
Address? it should be a local pathname.
