Hi, I have this same issue using the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. Did you manage to reproduce the issue? I can send you the link of the file that cause my player to crash

I confirm the problem is the attached cover.png (7.4 MB) in the mkv file, after removing it the issue is gone.
I can send you a small sample file to reproduce the issue
