I had to reflash my SD card, ( intalled a skin that would not work and could not get back to Apperance to change it). Install 1.37 but I do not get all of my artwork in movies, music, home videos or pictures, tv shows seems to be fine. They were all there before I did the reflash.
You nede to erase the SD card more than once, that worked for me.
i have a problem with 0.1.37
tested with 2 SD cards
Verbatim cl10 8Gb : from times to times thumbnail are black and plex become very slow
Sandisk cl10 8Gb : can't read any movies with an error pls read log + from times to times thumbnail are black
i install back 0.1.35 and all work fine
Not sure if that was meant to help me, but I have reformatted the drive using DiskWiper 12 times straight and still have this issue... when you shutdown the Pi, are you supposed to just unplug the cord or use the Shutdown listed in the main menu? This seems to be the cause of my Problem. When are the setting changes committed to memory? For instance, cache and First setup Wizard changes, are they saved when you change them or are they in RAM until reboot?
Pulling the plug without shutting down from the menu would be a bad idea, and could definitely cause SD card corruption.
Firstly a big thanks for providing Rasplex! Was having some issues with OpenElec and Raspbmc with my AVR yet I installed Rasplex and everything worked perfectly first time!
As I was just testing it to start with I only installed it on a Class 4 SD Card but now I have used it I want to stick with this over the other 2 above so am getting hold of a Class 10 card - bit of a noob question now - do I have to install from scratch or is there anyway of just copying the data/settings across to the new card?

Awesome job to the developers. I got myself two Raspberry Pis and put RasPlex on both of them and have been enjoying the experience immensely so far!
I have problems having the two RasPlex devices co-existing peacefully though. One's in the bedroom and another is in the living room. When I try to use my iPhone to control RasPlex in the bedroom, it won't see the bedroom device unless I turn off the living room device. I thought maybe their names were conflicting before (both were named plexhometheater), but I changed their system names are "master bedroom" and "living room" and I still can't see the two devices at once.
Anyone have success controlling two RasPlexs devices at once? Is there another setting I need to change to have them co-exist? Thanks in advance!
Is there a way to play Movies in the native resolution or do i get something wrong?
If i e.g. play a 480p movie my AV-Receiver tells me it got a 1080p input.
The only thing i could find was the skin resolution.
Just upgraded from 1.35 (I think to 1.37 using the in plex updater) must say it worked well - awesome work.
Started playing with last.fm submission. Usename and password is in and both playing music and radio options are on.
In my last.fm profile I can see a track I'm listening to now..but it doesn't seem to be scrobbled, ie once it the next track, it's not added to the scrobbled track list, just teh next one is listed as now listening.
EDIT: Hmm, now that I've stopped, everything I listened to is there now....ignore me. Keep up the good work. Hoping channel support may make it's way to the rPI soon.
Just got me a class 10 card and installing a new 1.37, slowest install i have ever seen so far. Hope everything is working great!
Installed and working great, the remote is abit slow, thinking its something to do with the CEC thing.

When it reboots it will say *** Error in mount storage: mount_common: could not mount /dev/mmcblk0p2 *** [ 20.230615] system halted. After that I have to reformat the sd card and re flash rasplex onto it. This is becoming pretty annoying and was wondering if there are any known fixes for this.

And what are your overclock settings in config.txt in /flash (check them even/especially when you didn't change them yourself)?

I was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me when trying to use an iPhone as a remote for Rasplex trying to play music....
I can use the iPhone to select a movie, selecting the 'bedroom Pi' as the player and then looking at the library and selecting a movie... After the pause for the initiation and the stream load it starts to play with no issues....
Now if I try and do the same for one of the music tracks the Pi just comes back with 'Failed to load'
Was thinking that using this option would be a great SONOS clone, but only if it plays mosic. ;-)

Is this capable of running the server and transcoding movies from a NAS?
I wouldnt suggest it as the server.... Need some umph if you want to server to a number of devices... Why not just put the server on the NAS and use Rasplex for the client at the TV?
Tried upgrading through the gui yesterday (to .38). The image downloaded but the Pi refused to boot after the upgrade. Had to pull the card and flash manually loosing all my settings. No big deal but still a pain. Anyone else had this experience?

Yes, it can do all of that in the background while you play call of duty.
Seriously though, no it cannot transcode. It's basically got the power of a low-end smart-phone.

Hi everyone..
I've an odd problem here : my sections don't show up anymore on my Rpi (on my android phone everything's okay) :(..i don't understand why. I'm on 0.1.36 on my Rpi and i updated to 0.1.38 to see if it was better..no luck.
via SSH on my rpi, the command "avahi-browse -a" tell me my server is here (for some reason the command froze for a long time..strange).
Strange thing tho, i'm able to access my movies/shows by using the Search command in the Main menu on my Rpi but the sections aren't here.
Lastly, when a choose Rasplex settings on my Rpi, the Rpi just...freezes !
An idea ? Thank you in advance..
