ReadyNAS media library no longer visible after password change

Server Version#: 1.28.1.6104
Player Version#:
I changed my password today and now I can no longer connect to my ReadyNAS library. I have logged out all devices, but now when I go to “Add your Media to Plex” it’s asking me to Get Plex Media Server. How can I add my libraries back or is this a reinstall?

Don’t forget to reclaim your server. When you opted to sign-out all devices, that included your server.

Remember you need to connect locally through the NAS’ local IP address from within the same subnet!!

Same problem here.

I thought I did this by opening Plex directly from my NAS.

That was it… I was not on the same subnet… went on the same subnet, opened plex from the NAS, and was able to claim my server! Thank you for the fast reply!

OK, I’m a little lost. Running 1.28.1.6104-7000 on a Synology. I go through the NAS and click on OPEN from the Synology package center and the web app opens. I have no access to a server under the settings option. I don’t see a way to do what you suggesting the other person did.

Thanks in advance.

When you open the web app from the package center… does it show the NAS’ local IP address in your address bar (e.g. http://[NAS IP address]:32400/web) and are you on the same subnet?

If the Syno’s account infos are out of sync you might need to go through the procedure outlined in this guide:

Yes, it’s showing http://###-###-##-###.xxxxxx.direct.quickconnect.to:32400/

Not sure how to verify I’m on the same subnet.

Sorry, but I’m pretty lousy at network stuff. Tried the incognito route and still ended up at a GET PLEX MEDIA SERVER page.

using quickconnect isn’t a local connection.
manually browse to the NAS’ local IP address → http://[local NAS IP address]:32400/web

Boom! You’re the best.

Nice ! It’s worked. Thank you
