On Synology,

  1. Your server metadata (all your media info and posters. etc) is stored in the
    PlexMediaServer shared folder.

  2. The Plex programs are stored in Package Center.

  3. You can always safely uninstall the program without touching the data UNLESS you tell it to ERASE the data.
