Remote Access no longer working since last update

I run 5 windows PMS servers, I just don’t have this problem…
Wonder if it could be a network configuration issue…

When you say remote access is not working are you referring to that remote access indicator or to someone getting denied when trying to access remotely.

I ignore the indicator since it’s not always correct. Mainly that’s due to internet network activity.

nydave69 I have had both problems… the remote access green check would turn red and also nobody could access the PMS from outside my local net. As of today I tried turning back to a version of PMS from Aug 2020 and that failed to fix so, I trashed the application and all its logs, caches, prefs …everything. I downloaded the PMS and reinstalled. Took awhile to re-scan all my media, I am hoping that works.

Something else to consider is that I had this problem start up recently randomly also. Directly after Comcrap Did work on the lines for something. Now I have had problems for a few days. I am mildly wondering if its ISP related, or location or any other patterns that may emerge. If you have multiple machines in your area, is it all or one with the issue. Maybe check stupid crap like windows update packages that managed to get installed. I can’t pin my issue either. Right now I have line problems, and now with the software (from reading here) its a bit too many variables to isolate. That kinda well, sucks. lol

Exactly the same issue here, working fine and then stopped, with DOS protection turned off works immediately. Someone from Plex confirmed that limiting SYN-Flooding was likely being triggered by a client accessing Plex remotely.

1. SYN-Flooding Protection : Only allow one TCP/SYN packet to pass per second.

The fact its always worked. Makes me think something has changed either client or server side. Disabling this is setting is no problem for me but may be worth in including in FAQs to save people spending hours trying to find cause of the issue.

Same issue here. Where is the Plex Team on this? Tried any and all suggestions on here.
