Remote Access not remaining connected after system reboot

Server Version#: 1.20.2.3370

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post to the forum, so I hope I’m providing all the appropriate info.

I restarted my media server (running on Windows 10) on Wednesday morning 9/30. I did not see any specific windows updates or media server updates upon restarting. After the restart, my remote access is no longer available. I have been running on this server for over 6 months with no issue, and it just started this week. I have been using uPnP so far with no issues, and have another server that is still actively running fine, connected to the same router (hardwired, just like the server having the issue).

When trying to turn on remote access, it goes green for a few seconds, then goes red stating “Not Available Outside Your Network”.

I tried some general troubleshooting, turned off the firewall and virus protection and restarted Plex, and it still has the same issue. I set up Port forwarding on the router, and still had the same issue. I disabled and re-enabled uPnP, but no luck.

As soon as I leave my network, I cannot access anything. There are other friends I have my libraries shared with, and they seem to be able to have limited access via the web to my stuff. That said, when trying to access the libraries from the Plex App for Android, I keep getting the playback error.

I’m not sure where to go from here, so any help would be appreciated. If more detail is needed, please let me know and I’ll try to figure out how to gather it all to be shared.

Thank you!
