I have been running Plex on a MacBook Air7,2 running macOS Catalina 10.15.8 for several years. It recently lost remote access, and I ended up wiping and reinstalling the OS for the MacBook and then freshly installed Plex media server.
Everything went swimmingly when I redid my libraries, but I am still experiencing no remote access. It’s not available outside my network. I went to manually specify the public port and made sure that all my settings are correct on my euro modem with the help of euro tech-support. When it spins and comes back, it’s green and everything is fine for about 10 seconds and then connectivity is lost. There’s gotta be something simple that I am missing. I am on a wireless connection with this computer and I don’t know if that’s the issue.
