Remote access to Plex Server

Will a family member, under the new pricing plan, have access to my remote server, if they have a lifetime membership? Or will they still have to pay the $2.00 a month?

Nothing’s going to change for them.

I have a lifetime Plex Pass subscription:

Nothing changes for you. You continue to enjoy all of your Plex Pass functionality and you can stream remotely from any Plex Media Server to which you have access.

But without a lifetime member ship they will have to pay the new access fee? I just want to make sure I understand this correctly.

Remote streaming will be a Plex Pass feature

It can be a little confusing, especially for those where English is not their primary lanuage. Plex really need to produce a flow chart or table to clarify. My effort. [image] If you want to know whether your can remote access your own server, then you are both the server owner and client user in the table above. EDIT: Updated chart to clarify circumstances where each individual client user account will require their own pass.

Someone made a chart. If the server owner has a Plex Pass, then anyone watching your server remote is fine.
