Your account is the “real” account. Managed Accounts are like sub-accounts so you can have individualized watching tracking. They’re useful for like a home where your wife and kids want to track their own watching and have their own Home screen arrangement, and be able to switch to their own profiles on any device you have signed on. Also, you can grant access to just certain libraries to Managed Accounts for various reasons.

That will never happen, no matter the votes, so better to keep letting Plex(*) know what needs to be fixed. Usually falls on deaf ears, but they did put back Music and Photos, so sometime they listen to us.
(*) Not the Plex Employees who post here, I don’t think their bosses don’t listen to them either

Guide can get as much as 4 minutes ahead of actual time making it impossible to select the station nearing show boundaries.

Can’t rescan tuners (2 quad PCI cards) included in existing DVR without first DELETING ALL tuners. Been this way since the last major “upgraded UI experience” years ago. Reported multiple times.

Time shifting is unreliable and often returns you hours into the past, especially when programs are being recorded and/or other clients are tuned to the same station. Been this way since day 1 of LiverTV, reported dozens of times.
Just stop! How many times do the people using this thing have to tell you they don’t want your weirdo non functional version?
And why ask for feedback if you don’t give a damn what feedback you get? What is this? Are you just trying to waste time or do you get off on stuff like this?
Just change it back, all the changes are stupid, I want to find a better word for it, but I just can’t, there really is no word other than stupid for these decisions. You literally had to do NOTHING and decided that was too complex.
Change it back or give us plex classic, I mean what’s next, you plan on forcing this on our desktops as well? Taking away all control and functionality that’s left? And for what? Like I’ve said before in other posts, rounded corners and bottom barrel streaming services! Hurray for us!

they are perfectly fine listening when the community is tracking down problems for them, doing half their job, but they wanna play this high and mighty ■■■■ when they force all this stupid on us. Screw that, quit helping them, let the whole thing fall apart, maybe they will get the message.

Yup, this new stuff suuuuuuuucks. Just so backward and stupid, no other word for it but stupid.
I am just waiting for a service to pop up out of this that takes plex’s place, it’s only a matter of time.
40 libraries! What are you doing? Don’t you know that you’re only supposed to have 2 libraries? Don’t you know that only people who don’t know what they are doing actually spend time to organize and categorize their media? Come on now, this is plex, it’s for watching Netflix and Hulu on an app that isn’t Netflix or Hulu!
Jellyfin and Emby have been around for a long time.

I know, I’m waiting for an entirely new thing to pop up on the scene at this point. I’ve tried jellyfin and emby as well, both just seemed, unfinished, to me. Plex was better, now it feels the same way, eventually someone will step up and fill the gap, shouldn’t be that hard, the pieces are all there, just have to pick em up and put em back together.
Asks for feedback and then deletes negative feedback, calling it “off-topic”. lol ok pal. What a joke of a company.

I cannot convey how terrible the new experience is. I’ve been with and you promoting Plex for years and this is completely disappointing. Please allow a “classic” version so we can gain back functionality and ease of use.

Above was written in September. It’s now December and everytime I open Plex I think how much I dislike the new layout. It looks nice it really does. But the old way was actually easy to use and I miss it.

Still crashing and freezing while browsing libraries and viewing seasons.
Back button still dumps from season/episodes to main library rather than going up a level to season selection.
Still no series music.
Still an awful, buggy UI with wasted space and pointless changes, clearly intended for touch screens.
Still frequent disconnects from server and local buffering.

The new Roku interface is HORRIBLE. Give us the option to DOWNGRADE or switch back to the old clunky one that was WAAAY better than this terrible frustrating experience.

I still can’t believe how much worse this new UI is. Seriously, you should cut your losses and revert back to the old UI. That one worked, it was easy to use, it wasn’t riddled with bugs and people liked it. The info section at the top of the Home screen is obnoxiously big. You can only see one row at a time. It’s just an overall frustrating experience that didn’t need to be changed.
By forcing this abomination that no one likes onto more and more people, you’re just going to see a revolt and loss of users. Is trying to force more people to use the streaming and rental really worth that?

I will be cancelling my membership and moving to Jellyfin. The new UI is the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Those who enjoy my server are totally not happy with the new UI and all the garbage I have disabled, now showing up. Was good while it lasted.

Thanks for this! It will keep my Plex as is until I complete my migration to JellyFin. People who are upset should try it, it’s feels much more familiar. I’m also giving Emby a spin.
