I have been a a lifetime Plex Pass subscriber for over ten years, and this is the first time I’ve felt the need to say anything. The new UI is terrible. It is clunky and cumbersome. If this is the kind of decision making I can expect from this platform going forward, then it is clear I wasted my money.

Hey, props for rallying folks—close to 500 is something, but do you really think that’ll “show” Plex anything meaningful? With millions of users out there, they’re probably just chuckling at the scale, right? It’s that huge gap between server counts and actual noise that bugs me: If the community (or Plex) truly cared, we’d see way more turnout. What’s your take on why it’s so quiet overall?
It’s not close to 500 (185 as I type this message). More folks need to vote for this to have even a chance at being a thing.
I have cast my vote. My apologies, as I noticed the “500” and realized my mind might have been overly optimistic in interpreting it.

I have visual issues with colors blending together. The complete replacement of show titles with logos makes it almost impossible for me to navigate properly though the lists.
You need to have an option to show just text titles or show it below the image.

@ajscott Again nobody considers disabilities. I was just browsing Netflix last night and I noticed that they too have replaced all the text with these awful logos. I couldn’t tell what ANYTHING was. Especially in Anime… goodness. Readability aside, their posters that expand into cards is the most annoying thing I have ever seen.
Plex PLEASE give us an option to have plain text OR logos. Or just stop trying to keep up with the Joneses.

Supposedly the option to pick a different logo or set it to use text only (like Emby\Jellyfin do it) is coming - they’ve promised it a few times with different timelines so who knows when though.
Some of the logos are pretty garbage. Emby\Jellyfin letting you change them is really useful so hopefully that’ll be sooner rather than later.
Yeah those are so hard to manage with those crazy long titles.
Asks for feedback. Sticks fingers in ears and chants “I’m not listening. I’m not listening.” when 99% of feedback is negative.

I hesitated to throw a vote at this because I thought most of my votes had been allocated. The feature request kept popping up enough times that I finally looked into it. Lo and behold, I had a few extra votes to spare so I threw one at it.
I think a lot of new people posting complaints, many of which are first time posters are unaware how the Feature Request voting system works. I’d suspect higher numbers if they did.
Will it do anything? Don’t know… At least i tried, and you should too.

100% I can’t stand the on-demand screen default every time and the lack of customization. I liked the old version much better than this new version.
