Server Version#: plexmediaserver_1.19.3.2764-ef515a800_amd64.deb
Player Version#: N/A (Web Browser)
I reset my password through Plex, I checked the box to deauth all authorized devices. I can log into plex but I can’t see my server, even when accessing my server directly via the 32400 port.
I’ve gone through the tutorial ‘when-access-is-lost-server-and-device-credentials-are-out-of-sync/557176’ and no joy
When I connect to my server http://192.168.5.15:32400, I can log in, but I can’t see my server or server settings. I never see the plex media server show up under the authorized devices, just my web browser from logging in.
I’ve stopped all plex services, uninstalled the application through apt removal and purging, deleted all remaining plex files in /usr/lib, /var/lib, and deleted the systemd configuration. Then I re-installed using the latest package dpkg -i plexmediaserver_1.19.3.2764-ef515a800_amd64.deb.
I clear all browser history, cookies, etc, I connect to ‘http://192.168.5.15:32400/web’ and I’m presented with the usual auth window. I log in, and presented with the plex app on my server. The URL stays on my server IP, it does not redirect me to app.plex.tv.
When I click on settings, I cannot see settings for my server.
When I click on Authorized devices all I see are the browser authorizations.
When I click on Home → My Media, I’m presented with a link to ‘Get Plex Server’.
It’s like even when I’m connected to my sever it’s not realizing that it’s a Plex Server, it’s acting more like it’s a Player app.
I have access to the web and can ping app.plex.tv from the server.
