I have a folder with 28 movies in it each in their own individual folder all with the exact same naming scheme and one of them won’t add to the library.
I’ve tried the plex dance (without renaming, since all the other files are fine), both Plex Movie and The Movie Database as the agent, optimizing the database, and cleaning bundles.
Which one?

It doesn’t seem to think there is anything in the Nausicaa folder. how exactly is the video file named. Does the file have the same permissions?
(Also a side note you seem to have a bunch of stuff nested into other subfolders fr your download folder and for collections. After the folder you add to library which appears you added. \\VMHOST10\Plex$\Movies the next thing should be the folder for the movie. But it is having to jump through the Torrentleach folder and your collection folders. If you are going to have collection folder technically adding each one is proper to library setup. like \\VMHOST10\Plex$\Movies\torrentleech\Studio.Ghibli.Collection Also never recommend adding active downloads folder to Plex if that is what the torrentleach folder is.

All of the other movies from Ghibli have the same naming structure. The torrent leech folder is there to keep my files from different trackers separate for seeding. I just tried resetting the permissions and it actually already had more permissions than the other Ghibli movies, probably from removing and re-adding the files.
I just mean if you need to keep the torrentfreak folder. Make your library set up have \\VMHOST10\Plex$\Movies\torrentfreak so it is one less thing to go through. But honestly you might still get weirdness.
Anyway if you can pause your torrents for a bit have you tried this The Plex Dance ™
I finally got it, I changed the studio ghibli folder name (in my torrent client so it could still seed), is there a maximum file name length? I noticed that it was the longest file name in at least that folder.
Not that I am aware of.
