I’m also getting consent crashes since upgrading to 1.15.1.710. Here’s my logs:
Plex Media (9.4 MB)
PlexAppLog.zip (105.7 KB)

Thought I’d share my preliminary findings, it’s a good sign for 1.777 with a caveat, looking forward to multi-day testing results:
Happy to report after installing 1.15.1.777 and doing a Full Multi Library scan (ran for 15hrs~), there was no PMS Windows crash event; something which has not happened since the using 1.14.x releases
With the 1.15.1.x release there would be a PMS Windows crash with a single library scan, sometimes within mins, it would take multi starts of PMS to complete one library scan, this is a Major improvement
Plex client streaming has not resulted in a PMS crash, another issue with 1.15.x builds even when not scanning libraries.
Note(caveat): I did find an issue with PMS not being responsive to clients during the library scanning, further testing required
Just a 2 day testing result, but it’s a BIG improvement over all past 1.15.x builds
I have logs for the server process from 04:28 am to 08:46 am for 10th March. There is no server crash,
I have export of the Application Event log for the last 10 days and there are no Plex Media Server.exe crashes
It appears that you are not encountering the crashes being addressed here.
Having said that, the server is getting regular scanner crashes when doing deep analysis for loudness for Music Library - this is different issue. You can raise separate forum topic for that. Add a link to it here and i will pick it up. But we will need copy of one of the albums to try and replicate the scanner crash. There is no indication that it is sqlite3 related.
The last scanner crash was at 05:02:05 am processing album R:\Music\Band\Across the Great Divide 3 Cd
You can send me link to an uploaded copy by private message. Please include the logs and event log export in the new forum topic for the Plex Media Scanner crashes that you will raise
Created a new topic for this and sent you a PM with the link to the mp3’s that you pointed out. Plex server stops playing, service still running though
Thanks!
So far, so good for me. No issues since update.
May I please get version 1.15.1.777…
(also posted elsewhere)
Since upgrading to the 1.15.x.xxx versions, the server will just exit for no apparent reason. It does this on all three of my machines. It will be fine for maybe a few hours or maybe a few minutes, then it will just exit for no reason… Whatever was changed in 1.14.1.5488 to 1.15.0.659 is where the problems started.
If I try to jump back to version 1.14.1.5488 I’m told I can’t. I’m not going to delete all the work I put into building this server to jump back, that’s 30TB of media to rebuild …
While writing this message I’ve had to reboot my one server 3 times and it was just sitting idol.
It would be nice if you would create a tool that I could run or “you” could run remotely that would collect the information you needed to see for diagnostics, it would then pack it up and send it home to you.
I want to help get this corrected and back working properly…so we can break it again…er, I mean, skip that last part…
After installing the build you sent me, I haven’t seen any issues - this is even after turning “video preview thumbnailing” back on as a scheduled task. I have only had one video with a conversion failed msg but everything else seems to work fine.
Thank you for the fix.

Diagnostic build is running solidly on three computers with no sign of glitches, despite beating up multiple libraries.
I have replied to your other post with this
Please ensure debug logging is enabled on the server
See
https://support.plex.tv/articles/201643703-reporting-issues-with-plex-media-server/
Restart the server to get fresh logs created
On next crash - get the logs zip after restarting
See
https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/
And if you are on windows and since some of these crashes are not being intercepted by the Plex Media Server crash reporting, please also export the Windows Application Event Log using Eventvwr.exe and filtering for Event Ids 1000,1001 and save as evtx file and zip and attach together with the logs zip
The cause of database busy during scanning has been identified and a fix will get included in the next beta release. I will let you have an early build to try when one is available
Here are the requested logs and EventvwrLogs.zip (644.0 KB)
Thank you
You should get notification of invite to private message that has link for the 1.15.1.777
The event log export is of a crash from the 11th March. The logs are for the 12th march. The crash is similar to what is being fixed
was there no 12th march 2019 events with event id 1000?
The new beta is now out - 1.15.1.780
It includes the fix for the crashes on windows as well as the busy database issue when scanning
See Release Note
@sa2000, do they stagger these rollouts? I am still not seeing the option to update, even after Check for Updates is pressed.
It is a number of steps to get a release out - including download page (https://plex.tv/downloads), the forum post for the release note and the auto update notification through the Plex client apps.
I have just checked and I am seeing the 1.15.1.780 banner on a server that has beta channel for updates in server settings and is on an earlier version
1.15.1.780 seems to have resolved all the crashes I was having with the 1.15 branch. Been up a few hours, forced scans, transcoding with subtitles, all maintenance tasks. Thanks!
I am going to close this topic now with the fix being 1.15.1.780
New topics should be raised for any new issues
And thanks to everyone who helped with the diagnostics to help us get to the bottom of the problem and identify the cause. It was not easy without dumps and thanks again to @Wang.Chung.Plex and @wyldemusick for making the registry edits to get dumps captured by windows and to @Wang.Chung.Plex for providing the procmon captures and forced dumps that helped with the database busy investigations
